Overview of Military Education Benefits
Geneva College believes those who have served their country deserve the opportunity to further their education while on active military duty or once their service is complete. The school supports all the military programs available — GI Bill®, Military TA, and Yellow Ribbon.*
The Geneva College Student Financial Services staff works with active duty military personnel, veterans, reservists, their spouses and their dependents to offer generous military benefits. They ensure that such student receives the maximum benefits possible from the Armed Forces, Department of Defense and Department of Veterans Affairs.
Most Geneva College undergraduate and graduate programs, as well as the Adult Degree Program (ADP), are approved for use with the post-9/11 GI Bill and the Military Tuition Assistance program.
Veterans who are undergraduate students and residents of PA may also qualify for state grants through the Pennsylvania Higher Education Assistance Agency.
The federal government offers assistance to active duty military personnel, veterans, reservists and their spouses and dependents through a variety of programs. They include the post-9/11 GI Bill and the Yellow Ribbon GI Education Enhancement Program. Geneva College participates in the Yellow Ribbon program.
*GI Bill® is a registered trademark of the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA). More information about education benefits offered by VA is available at the official U.S. government Web site at *https://www.benefits.va.gov/gibill.
